Pavithra Rao
Pavithra Rao has served on social impact projects across sectors in India and the USA with a strong background in organizational environmental sustainability.
With a broad range of experience, from grassroots level initiatives for government, to private and nonprofit organizations, Pavithra has engaged diverse audiences – schools and college students, agricultural laborers, and sustainability and research professionals.
Pavithra holds a Master’s of Science from the University of Mysore, a Certificate for Strategy and Sustainable Enterprise from IIMB and is a Certified Associate in Project Management with PMI San Francisco Bay, California Chapter, where she currently resides.
Pavithra’s primary interest lies in maximizing Corporate Social Responsibility to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals including issues related to women. She is currently a Meta-Researcher for the SHERPA Institute Corporate Guidebook Series, with a focus on SDG12 – Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG5 – Gender Equality.
